I've been writing some articles for HandmadeNews.org for a while now, so I thought I'd wander over to affiliate ArtFire to check them out. Turns out, they're pretty cool! So I've opened a studio there too.

I've been featured!

A lovely girl named Janet, of JeByJa on Etsy, has featured me on her blog! She updates every day with new artists on Etsy, and it's something we can really use these days. Thanks Janet!

In other news, I made some big sales today. I did some custom pieces for a lovely woman named Sylvia, and she loved them, but I took a spontaneous nap before I got the chance to take any pics. Just believe me, I do awesome work (I'm totally cool). Here's a pic of the poly clay pendant in-process:

He's a lizard! This is before he got his yellow spots and his gold bronze pulver....uh, dusting, but I'll show you his cool little face too:

Neat-o, huh? I'm pretty pleased with the way he turned out. You should see him fully dressed! I'll find more pics soon, but really, pics don't do him justice.

Nyx Necklace

Hello, internetsians! I've been a little under the weather for a few days, but I'm slowly getting back to normal now. I just listed a new necklace, called Nyx, which stands for Night. It features a really cool blue goldstone, and just so I don't get slammed by stone afficionados, let me say that I am aware that goldstone is made of glass. Photos and a description follow:


Sparkle with the elegant simplicity of the night sky in the country. Delicate sterling silver chain leads to a textured brass ring, from which a 14mm blue goldstone bead hangs. Total length is about 19”.

Sweet Pea Pod bracelet

I had to post two pics of this because it's really hard to capture how awesome this bracelet looks in a photo. If only you could see it in person, you'd totally get it....but anyway, it's pretty cool. I was surprised at how well this turned out, actually; everything is so colourful and deep and luminous. I'm really happy with it, and I have more like it in different sizes on the way. Here's what I said about it on Etsy:

Looking for some fresh flavour that will last longer than the time it takes to chew and swallow? Have I got the set for you – starting with this vibrant bracelet. A dark green polymer pod encases six bright peas of pearl, wrapped at both ends with sterling silver wire and strung on delicate sterling silver rollo chain. Two darker green pearl peas flank the sterling silver lobster clasp and ring. The length of the chain makes the bracelet fit comfortably at 7”, but I can alter this if needed. Looks really bright and fresh!

Bryan hasn't seen this one, so I don't have a nifty description yet. Aside from mine, of course.
